Community Resources

We partner with a great number of organizations and individuals to provide services. Here are some of our community partners and resources. If you have questions about their organizations, or if you need  help making a connection, you can reach out to them directly at the Contact Info we've provided. If they have a website or Facebook page- we have linked their name. 

We also can help make a connection if needed, so we encourage you to reach out to us.

FOOD ASSISTANCE AND DISTRIBUTION

These organizations are able to help provide food assistance in a variety of ways.

Dine-in meals are available daily from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Take-out and home-delivered meals are available to individuals who qualify. Must request take-out/home delivery meals before 10 am to receive them the same day. Ages 60 and over. Suggested donation per meal for Seniors is $5, and for non-Seniors is $9.

Provides easy to fix meals for school age children on the weekends and over holiday breaks.

Give away pre-prepared food boxes. Food distribution is 3rd Wednesday of the month 11:00 am to 1:30 pm Distribution is at the VFW Post 2281 (302 Broadway St, Thermopolis, WY). Partnership between River of Life Fellowship, Food Bank of Wyoming, Wyoming Hunger Initiative and VFW Post 2281. Have some reserves and food available at other times, in case of emergency.

Philips Help Center has a variety of financial assistance and resources- including help with rent, deposits, utility payment, education assistance, medical and dental assistance, prescription eye glasses assistance, and fuel assistance. Laundry services and showers available. Programs funded by private donors, and a partnership with YCAN. They serve as the hub for The Salvation Army and the Coats for Kids Program. Call to schedule an appointment, discuss your eligibility for a variety of support, and begin the application process.
